"I"Cat Scanning Protocols and Exposure

1. Red line indicates physical position of laser line on detector and should be aligned with occlusal plane.
2. Red shaded regions indicate approximate area of reconstruction. The final image within this area may vary slightly depending upon the size and form of the subject.
3. Please note that all dose figures are approximate and are derived from a measured dose of 68uSv for a 20 second scan, with a height of 13cm and a resolution of 0.4mm voxel.
4. Dose figures are based on current tissue weightings and do not include the salivary glands.
